According to a study from researchers at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University Of Pennsylvania, about 25% of Americans experience acute insomnia each year.1 Cannabinoid (CBD) may be the answer you have been looking for. Prior to this story, The Huffington Post published another report in 2017 from a clinical psychologist and board-certified sleep specialist explaining that there is research to suggest that CBD can be beneficial for rest as it has the ability to reduce anxiety, which is crucial when trying to treat sleep difficulties and improving sleep quality. Along with aiding in relieving patients of insomnia, he went on to describe the many other benefits including treating depression, its pain-relieving properties and helping people that suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.
